Artwork by Kristina Davidson 2013

Terry Barclay  and Kristina Davidson

Convergence
Opens 5th September

Kristina Davidson

By identifying pattern in all things, the artist connects to nature and artistically creates landscape from within the terrain of her mind.

Shifts and changes in tone and line evolve into physical space and timelessness on paper, which combine to communicate the artists? personal umwelt.

Terry Barclay

My artwork starts as a series of random ideas most of which I don’t always act on immediately. Having formed an initial idea it often remains dormant until some other (often unrelated) idea links it to other ideas and a concept begins to form.

I like to push and pull the concept around in my head for a while and make a number of rough drawings before starting the final work.

I want my artwork to engage the viewer and for them to interpret the work in whatever way they choose.

SPACE, COLOUR, SILENCE

The goal is to find the path to fill the space with a sacred silence and joy, using colour and texture.

ESPACIO, COLOR Y SILENCIO

La meta es llenar el espacio en un silencio sagrado y  gosozo, usando color y textura.
